Packaging & Shipping Guide

This guide explains the packaging formats and export coordination IronForge Auto discusses with aftermarket parts distributors. Packaging details, shipping arrangements, and documents are confirmed for each order.

Packaging Options

Available formats depend on the product and order. Options shown on the site include:

  • Bulk industrial packing
  • Plain or neutral boxes with product labels
  • Custom branded color boxes
  • Retail-ready blister or display packaging for suitable products
  • Custom labels and packaging prepared for a distributor's brand

Tell us how the product will be sold or distributed so we can review a suitable format. Confirm the approved artwork, product identification, quantities per package, and any destination-market labeling needs before production.

Protecting Product and Brand Information

Packaging requirements should be discussed by product and order. Product pages describe anti-counterfeit labeling for filtration products, while private-label options are handled during custom order planning. Ask us which identification and brand-protection options are available for your specific reference.

Shipping Arrangements

IronForge Auto coordinates export shipments through logistics partners and supports arrangements including FOB, CIF, and DDP, as stated in the customer support information. The available arrangement depends on destination and order details. The agreed term, named place or port, responsibilities, and charges should be recorded in the quotation or order confirmation.

Provide the destination country and delivery location when requesting a quotation. Also let us know whether you have a nominated freight forwarder and whether your team needs a particular shipping schedule or delivery arrangement.

Export Documents and Order Requirements

Commercial invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, and other applicable export documents are handled as part of the order and shipment process. Tell us at the quotation stage if you require any additional documents so we can confirm the scope and timing.

Please raise any third-party inspection or destination-market certification, including SASO or GSO where applicable, at the quotation stage and allow time for arrangements. Costs and the responsible party are agreed for each order. Material certificates do not replace destination-market certification. Identify any documents required by destination regulations at the quotation stage and confirm local import requirements with your customs broker or relevant authority.

Shipment Planning Checklist

Before confirming an order, share:

  1. Destination country and delivery location
  2. Preferred shipping arrangement and nominated forwarder, if any
  3. Carton-marking, label, or packaging instructions
  4. Any required export documents, additional inspections, or destination-market certification
  5. Required delivery window and contact details for shipment coordination

The quotation or order confirmation should set out the product quantities, packaging, agreed shipping arrangement, and expected schedule. For order status, contact your account manager or our support team.

For the quality-check process and documentation requests, see Quality Control & Inspection. For private-label artwork and packaging options, see the Custom & Private Label Guide.
